Riverwalk

1.26.11  Nance Jo, Earl.  Brrrrr, Cold.  Prepared for a snowy day, but didn't quite prepare for a cold windy day.  Brought the small camera so I could protect it from the rain and snow.  Wouldn't you know it, not a drop of rain or a flake of snow.  We hiked along the Riverwalk for a distance of 8.6 miles and it was really a nice walk.  We saw gulls, sand hill cranes, blue herons, geese and some ducks.  Lunch was at 2 Square.  This is a restaurant along Amnicola hwy that is quite close to the Riverwalk.  Good sandwiches.  I would rate this an easy walk.  For a couple of pictures, click on the Riverwalk tab above.
