This hike was 9.2 miles at Roaring Creek (part of the Cumberland Trail). The hike is
rated as strenuous.
There were three hikers today Gary,
Boodiee, and John. We hiked to Gilbreath Creek, ate lunch, and returned to the
trail head. The only wildlife we saw besides a few birds was a small box
turtle.
The weather today was calm and muggy. Views from the overlooks
were limited due to the hazy conditions.
