Soddy Greenway 4.21.15

It was a great day for a hike.  The only problem encountered was that the water was too high to cross the creek.  The group split up and and some hiked the greenway twice and the remainder hiked over to Sluder Lane and then back to the main trail.  I would rate the hike as mostly easy.  If you would like to see a bunch of pictures, click here or on the Soddy Greenway tab above.

Soak Creek Wildflowers

4.18.15    This was a beautiful five mile hike.  Two rangers accompanied the hikers and named the various wildflowers seen along the way.  Soak Creek was roaring with water and that made a pleasant sound during the hike.  There were 12 hikers from our local club and 7 from the Plateau Chapter.  All in all it was a great day.  If you would like to see a bunch of pictures, click here or on the Soak Creek tab above.
