7.30.13   Sterchi Farm    Hikers were Harold, Bob, Connie, Gloria, Judith. Sonna, Renee, & John. We had a beautiful day for a hike. We hiked a total of 6 miles and finished at about 11am. Very few people were on the trail today.  For a couple of pictures click on the Sterchi Farm tab above.  I would rate this hike as easy.  

Sluder Lane to Big Soddy Creek

7.27.13    We had a beautiful day for this fairly strenuous hike. It was cloudy. The hike was measured at 6.9 miles. We had 8 hikers. Bridge work is going on at both the Deep creek and the Big Soddy creek crossings. Temporary bridges are across both creeks and bridge footer work has begun at both sites.  For a couple of pictures click on the Sluder Lane tab above.

Red Clay S.P. 7.23.13

This was a short hike of only 2.3 miles, but the turnout was great.  We had 17 hikers!  For a few pictures, click on the Red Clay tab above.

Enterprise South 7.20.13

7.20.13  This was a very nice hike with 9 people.  However, the mosquitos were pretty bad.  Pity anyone without repellent.  We did find a nice area free from mosquitoes and had a nice snack break.  This was a relatively easy hike but the distance was 7.4 miles.  If you would like to see some pictures, click on the Enterprise South tab above.
