Chickamauga Battlefield 2.16.13

2.16.13   Twelve hikers.  This was a really cold day for a hike.  The temperature hovered in the mid 30's and when you were crossing an open field, the wind chill was really something to contend with.  The high-point of this hike was the sighting of a herd of deer (see pictures).  We also met members of the Chattanooga Hiking Club on the trail.  They were going one way and our group was going the other.  This hike was 7 miles and rated as easy-moderate.  For a couple of pictures, click on the Chickamauga Battlefield tab above.
