Weekly Trials. Tribulations and Photos experienced while hiking
Laurel Falls
11.19.13 It was a cold and blustery day when all through the forest not a sound was heard except the wind in the trees and the roar of Richland Creek. This was one of those hike where you could not decide what to wear. Start off warm and you would be too hot before long and start of with less clothing and you would soon be chilled to the bone. I think just about everyone was soon peeling off clothes. George led a great hike and we reached Laurel Falls without incident. Water was pouring over the falls so it was beautiful. There were quite a few other hikers out on the trail today and a few dogs. I would rate this hike as moderate with a distance of five miles. To see a few pictures click here.
