Lula Lake Hike 3.19.2011

3.19.2011  Nance Joe, Earl, McBob, George and new hikers Ana and John K. and his wife joined us for a very beautiful hike on Lula Lake.  We had previously gotten permission to hike the lake on a day when the lake is normally closed.  The weather was perfect with just a few light clouds in the sky.  We had three new hikers that made the hike even more enjoyable.  There was lots of water in Rock Creek which made Lula Lake Falls spectacular.  George led us on a circuitous trek through the park that made sure that the we saw all of the parks features.  The distance was 4.5 miles and I would rate the trek as easy.  For a few pictures click on the Lula Lake tab above or click here.
