Trail Maintenance

3.27.11  Nance Jo, Caroline, Earl  It seems to be hard to find hikers on a maintenance day!  The three of us carried on where we left off on the previous maintenance day.  Mostly, we raked, pruned and cut a couple of small trees blocking the trail.  We did our best to try to drain some wet spots and direct some water away from settling in pools on the trail.  We moved a few rocks to help in crossing the wet spots.  In all we hiked about 4.5 miles.  To view a few pictures of the hike click on the Trail Maintenance tab above or click here.
